Do you accept donations?

First, we cannot thank you enough for your generosity! Community Action's funding is a combination of federal grants, state grants, foundation support, and the generosity of our community friends and neighbors. Monetary donations are most helpful to meet the needs of families and individuals and, therefore, we are happy to accept donations that help us fulfill our mission.

We will use 100% of your gift to meet the needs of local families. Local donations are never used for administrative costs (we have that covered already).

Community Action of Eastern Iowa is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donation may be tax-exempt under the Internal Revenue Service code.

You can make a donation by PayPal, mail, or in person. If you would like your gift to benefit a specific service, just let us know either in the “special instructions” section in PayPal or in writing with your mailed or in-person donation.
